The University offers 15 Halls of Residence across its campuses, providing lodging for 4,000 students. Students can choose from catered or self-catered residences. Freshmen usually opt for the catered halls, where three meals are served daily, while older students and postgraduates choose the self-catered type which lets them prepare their own meals and eat on their own schedules. There are also specially designed rooms for students with disabilities.
Hotels and Accommodation
The city of Nottingham offers several accommodation choices, from low-cost leases to luxury hotels. Many are within 3 km / 2 miles from the University Park and offer family accommodation for families helping new students get settled.
The Express by Holiday Inn is located at the Chapel Quarter, about 2.4 km / 1.5 miles from the University. It is conveniently close to the main shopping centres and theatres, and continental breakfasts are offered to all guests. Single and double rooms are available, starting at £70 per day.
